Download Meillionen o FeironnyddSir Feirionnydd, or Merionethshire in English, was one of the historic counties of Wales until it was abolished in 1974. Covering 1,731 square kilometres it is one of the most sparsely populated parts of Wales and a stronghold of the Welsh language. Its landscape is wild, remote and beautiful. As so many of my photographs and stories are inspired by Merioneth, it seemed fitting to include my version of this beautiful traditional Welsh tune, 'Meillionen o Feirionnydd' (the Clover of Merioneth).
